Overview Visions Treatment Centers is seeking compassionate and dependable Program Aides to join our team at our adolescent residential facilities. Program Aides play a vital role in supporting the daily structure, safety, and well-being of our residents while helping create a positive and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include supervising residents, assisting with daily routines and activities, supporting behavior management, and collaborating closely with clinical and medical staff to ensure quality care. This position requires individuals who are patient, professional, and team-oriented, with a passion for working with adolescents and making a meaningful, positive impact in the field of mental health and addiction recovery. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in a fast-paced environment are essential
General Job Duties:
Facilitate daily client activities, including wake-up routines, chores, meal support, and group transitions. Transport clients safely to and from appointments, meetings, and approved outings. Observe and monitor client behavior, providing interventions aligned with treatment needs and program requirements. Document observations, milieu interventions, and client interactions in the electronic health record. Maintain effective communication with counseling staff and participate in staff interface meetings to support coordinated care. Write detailed shift logs summarizing significant events, client behavior, and notable concerns. Provide supervision and transportation for clients attending community 12-step meetings and other off-site activities. Conduct vehicle safety checks and follow all transportation safety rules. Supervise self-administration of client medications after completing appropriate training. Conduct regular house checks, fire drills, and disaster drills in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements. Orient new clients to the program, house rules, schedules, and expectations. Conduct check-ins for incoming clients, including searching belongings for contraband and securing restricted items. Provide one-on-one supervision for at-risk clients per direction from leadership. Follow emergency procedures exactly, including paging protocols and incident response requirements. Conduct UA drug screen collections using approved procedures. Support client safety by reporting concerns immediately and documenting incidents as required. Other duties as assigned. Details We are a drug free work place and candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screening. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Valid Drivers License Required. We have a mandatory staff meeting weekly. You will not be able to work shifts until you receive your Live Scan clearance.
