m.-12:50 p.m., mid-August through early June Monte Rio School is a small, community-centered TK-8 public school nestled among the redwoods in the beautiful Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. Our inclusive school is known for its strong relationships, small class sizes, and supportive, family-like atmosphere where every student is known, valued, and encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Paraeducator works under the supervision of the Superintendent/Principal and in collaboration with classroom teachers to support the academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development of students. This position provides instructional assistance to individuals and small groups, reinforces classroom learning, and helps maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Paraeducators assist with implementing classroom activities, preparing instructional materials, monitoring student progress, and supporting classroom management and supervision during instructional and non-instructional times. Responsibilities may include providing direct instructional support, administering and scoring assignments and assessments under teacher direction, collecting student data, supervising students in classrooms, playgrounds, and lunch areas, and participating in staff meetings and professional development activities as appropriate. Because of our small size, paraeducators at Monte Rio School have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and families and make a significant impact on children's daily experiences and success. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working closely with children, values collaboration, and thrives in a small-school environment where flexibility, initiative, and teamwork are essential. Successful candidates are organized, dependable, and self-motivated individuals who communicate effectively, e View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications For more information on Requirements/Qualifications, please contact the employer.
