Bay Area Bright Minds runs hands-on STEM classes for grades 1 to 6 at schools from Burlingame to San Jose. As an Assistant Instructor you'll teach alongside a lead instructor, run small groups, help kids debug, and keep the room focused and fun. Pay is $20 to $30/hr with paid training, for 1 to 5 classes a week on weekday afternoons. We match you to schools near where you live or study, so your commute stays short. We promote from within. Assistants with strong attendance and great parent feedback move up to Solo Instructor ($40 to $50/hr) and Experienced Instructor ($50 to $60/hr), with a performance bonus of up to $200. We ask for the full January to June term, on time every class, because families count on seeing the same teacher each week.
