GENERAL INFORMATION
The Program Assistant works with the management team to plan, organize and perform a wide variety of specialized administrative and technical duties in support of the successful completion of work scope goals and deliverables for grant-funded projects. The Program Assistant works directly under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 1 year experience working with complex grant-funded projects or related program experience
- Experience in coordinating community programs preferred, particularly in the areas of after school, prevention, volunteers, and health & wellness
- CDL and NCOE driving clearance required
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management
- Responsible for providing administrative support to site staff on a regular basis, including support with supplies and materials orders.
- Responsible for assisting with social media, newsletters and regular communication regarding program.
- Maintain program calendar and update calendar with staff info, contacts and resources.
- Represent the project to the public including consultants, advisory members, and constituents.
- Track support requests and coordinate the provision of follow-up technical assistance.
- Responsible to analyze and address problems proactively. Using judgment and discretion, must resolve problems that may not be covered by policy. Reporting
- Track data and prepare draft project reports as required by funding agents
- Responsible for tracking payments and providing reports to management when requested.
