Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school environment preferred EIPA certification not required Ability to build rapport with students and adapt to their unique learning styles Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently across different locations

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students using ASL during after-school program activities and academic support Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate clear communication and successful learning experiences Support classroom management and help implement educational plans as directed by lead teachers Foster an inclusive environment that promotes interaction, participation, and confidence in students who are deaf or hard of hearing Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participation This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference each afternoon, working 2:30-6:00 PM daily, for approximately 20-24 hours per week.
