Job Description

This contract opportunity allows you to make a difference across various educational sites in the Olivehurst region, providing essential assistance during critical after-school hours. With a flexible schedule of 2:306:00 PM each day, youll help foster communication and learning for students who use sign language. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language is required Previous paraprofessional experience in school settings preferred EIPA certification is not required for this assignment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently across multiple school sites Patient, resourceful, and committed to student successPrimary Responsibilities:
Support students who communicate via sign language in after-school programs Provide clear, accessible communication between staff, students, and peers Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse learners Assist individual or small groups of students with academic or enrichment activities Collaborate with educators and other staff to ensure students needs are effectively met Flexibly transition between multiple sites as needed each weekBenefits & Perks:
