- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and mathematics based on one of the following options: a) Copy of A. A. or A.S. degree (or higher) and pass Part C of CODESP exam OR b) 48 semester units at an institution of higher education and pass Part C of CODESP exam OR c) Pass Part A, B, and C of the CODESP equivalency exam (District written exam)
- First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Attend a "Nonviolent Crisis Intervention" training program within six (6) months Requirements / Qualifications
