Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference in the lives of students? Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School is seeking an energetic After-School Aide for our Gator Club. As a member of our close-knit community in Pasadena, California, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a caring after-school care environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth for all participants in the program.
Daily Responsibilities:
Support students with their homework and projects Implement instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of our after-school students and this could include arts & crafts and other programming Collaborate with Gator Staff to develop and implement the curriculum and program to students from TK to 8th Grade. Supervise students at play in the playground and the Gator Club space Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences for students who need help

Our school is dedicated to providing exceptional preparation for life in a caring and faith-filled environment. We cultivate students who are eager to learn and excel in our rigorous academic program, while also focusing on character development and forming faith-filled leaders.
Requirements Required Skills:
Experience in supervising groups of students from TK to 8th Grade Communicate with parents when needed during the program Knowledge of instructional strategies for all grade levels in order to help students with their homework Background in elementary education or early childhood education VIRTUS Certificate, Cleared Fingerprints, updated TB Test, and other documents Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with working in classrooms with school-aged children Expertise in classroom management techniques for all grade levels
Salary and Benefits:
This is a part-time and the pay for this position is $18.57 per hour in the afternoons from 2:30PM-6:00PM. Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
