What you'll do: Work closely with students, either 1:1 or 2:1 Assist various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom Build rapport and trust with the children in your care Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans) Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed

Earn up to $30/hr for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among education providers. What We're Looking For:

Required:

Fluent in American Sign Language and able to translate with non-signing individuals Passion for education and putting students first An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be College credits, Associate's Degree or a Bachelors Degree Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor State & federal background checks You'll stand out if you have:

Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Certification, American Consortium of Certified Interpreters (ACCI), Level 4 or above (formerly known as NAD certification),Certification by the Cued Speech TECUnit, Educational Sign Skills Evaluation

• Interpreter (ESSE-I), Level 4 or above, or Educational Interpreter Performance Evaluation (EIPA), Level 4 or above.
