Qualifications Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher:

24 ECE units required (including 3 Infant/Toddler units ) Will consider candidates currently enrolled in ECE courses Support provided to help employees complete the required ECE units

12 ECE units required (including 3 Infant/Toddler units ) Will consider candidates currently enrolled in ECE courses Support provided to help employees complete the required ECE units Duties Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional security Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and socialization Support classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and execute educational activities tailored to children's individual needs Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental achievements Support behavior management strategies that encourage positive interactions and social skills Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental progress Follow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; classroom experience preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques for infants and toddlers Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and professionalism Strong caregiving skills with a nurturing approach to infant and toddler care Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Experience with classroom management techniques and early childhood education best practices This role provides an enriching environment for those committed to early childhood development.
