Job Description
How would you like to work for an award-winning Bay Area preschool where we value our families, children, and staff? We believe that a high-quality program begins with a fun and happy teaching staff that truly enjoy what they do and have a strong commitment to shaping little hearts and minds.
Possible Shifts:
2pm-5:30 pm or 9:00am -5:30pm (We are flexible with the hours if you are looking for more or less hours) We are looking for: Infant/Toddler Teachers with Early Childhood Education units completed (min. 12 core units + infant/toddler course completed) Does this sound like you? An energetic, creative and responsible team player Passionate about working with young children Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Reliable, self-directed & dedicated in their job performance Qualifications forTeachers:
- 6-12 completed core semester units in Early Childhood/Child Development and enrolled in at least 2 semester units until fully qualified including Infant/Toddler classes if working with the infants and toddlers (currently enrolled in ECE is ok)
- at least 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program
- Live Scan (FBI/DOJ fingerprinted)
- Experience with designing curriculum and carrying out age appropriate activities for young children
- Experience with speaking to families at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day Benefits included:
