Child Development Associate Certification Teaching Full Job Description Position Summary:

Under teacher direction, assist small groups of 1-10, in basic academic assistance. The ideal candidate will embody the Catholic identity and mission of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish School where all students are challenged to achieve their personal best spiritually, academically, and culturally. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working with children in a classroom setting.

Specific duties will include:

• Small group assistance/extra instruction with teacher guidance
• Reading instructions, questions, or tests to students out loud
• Explaining instructions or steps in a slow / detailed process
• Assistance with spelling and proper writing skills
• Grade-level math assistance
• Bachelor's degree
