Part-time The After-School Program operates separately from the regular school day and educational program at Adventure Christian School. The After-School Program Aide shall always strive to understand, appreciate, love, and serve alongside the teacher. Furthermore, they will assist in maintaining and appropriate learning environment and providing age-appropriate activities and contribute his/her talents to create an excellent program and positive experience in the after-school hours for Adventure Christian School students. Job Duties Responsible for taking direction and supervision from the After-School Program Director. Support the After-School Program Director in utilizing effective classroom and instructional management techniques where needed or as directed. Reflect a Christ-like spirit in dealing with student-teacher and student-student relationships. Arrive punctually and attend all duties, programs, and meetings that are scheduled by administration. Maintain effective communication with the After School Ministry Director, teammates and students. Actively support and maintain safety standards, training, and an ongoing safety program, resulting in a safe and healthy work and school environment. Responsible for constant supervision of the children in the classroom and on the playground for their safety and welfare.
Requirements Qualifications:
Must pass a pre-employment reference and background screen. Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Mission Critical Have accepted Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior. Believe that the Bible is God's Word and standard for faith and daily living. Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education. Demonstrate Christ-like attributes in attendance, speech, and actions. Demonstrate spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to train up a child in the way he/she should go.
