A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Help keep kids learning and safe at lunch, in class, and after school. Help create and run fun and educational programming for students ages 4 to 14 in our school's after school program under the direction of our After School Program Director! We are looking for energetic, positive, kind-hearted staff to help lead our children in games, crafts, play, and projects from 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with shifts available during the school days and other shifts available for after school program only. (Additional days possible during our break camps.) Join our inclusive and diverse staff as we build healthy relationships with and between students, create a safe and supportive space to learn and play, and enjoy the beautiful environment of our coastal dunes. Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), restorative practices, social emotional learning, and more will be included.
