Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in preschool settings while making a positive impact on children's lives. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development Help with classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and transitions between activities Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom events Assist in preparing educational materials and setting up learning centers to enhance lesson delivery Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while supporting individual student needs Must have at least 6 Early Childhood Education Units.
