Hiring Para Educators
  • 26/27 School Year Amergis Educational Staffing
  • 3.4 Santa Maria, CA Job Details Full-time $18
  • $20 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification CPR High school diploma or GED Data collection Full Job Description Para Educators are individuals who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee.
May also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • HS Diploma required
  • Experience working in childcare, schools, caregiving highly preferred
  • Data collection or ABA Therapy a plus
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be 18 years old
