• Full-time We have an opening for an assistant teacher to join our amazing team at Coast Redwoods Montessori.

We are seeking a warm and caring individual to join our team, assisting children 6 months through 6 years old to gain social and emotional skills, and independence, and assisting teachers to prepare the learning environment. This position requires no specific education or experience but childcare experience is highly preferred. It does require criminal background clearance and hired candidates will be required to attend a Montessori overview course. The successful candidate will show self initiative, respect for children and co-workers, and a strong work ethic. They will have demonstrated a focus on early childhood development through schooling or child-related work history. In this industry, timeliness and dependability are absolutely required. We have a full time position available. M-F 8:30-5:30 This is a fantastic, entry level opportunity for a candidate interested in starting a career in high quality early childhood education.
