9658997-95472 Job Description Step into a rewarding professional environment supporting students in educational settings near Sebastopol, CA through a contract position offering 32.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. This assignment spans the academic year from August 13, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with ten openings available. Engage in meaningful work by providing essential assistance to students from PreK through 12th grade as a one-to-one (1:1) support or within self-contained classrooms. Key Experience & Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional, special education aide, or in a related support role within school settings CPI certification or equivalent behavioral intervention training highly preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials will be favorably considered Confidence in working with students exhibiting severe behavioral challenges and equipped to implement behavioral interventions as needed Ability to support both individual students and assist within self-contained classrooms Professionalism, patience, and effective communication skills Flexibility to adapt to various classroom environments and grade levels (PreK12)

Responsibilities:

Deliver consistent 1:1 support to assigned students, fostering inclusive learning Collaborate with educators, therapists, and behavioral specialists to follow individualized education and behavior plans Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students with diverse needs Document progress, interventions, and relevant observations as required Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques as appropriate This contract opportunity offers pay ranging from $2024 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
