Day Shift Program Aide

We are looking for a dependable and service-minded Day Shift Program Aide to support front desk operations and daily client services for a community-focused housing program in South San Francisco, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, staying organized in a fast-paced setting, and assisting individuals with care and professionalism. In this role, you will balance reception responsibilities with site support tasks that help maintain a safe, orderly, and responsive facility.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors, residents, and service providers at the front desk while maintaining a courteous and attentive presence.
• Manage incoming packages, sort and distribute mail, and help coordinate deliveries and donated items throughout the site.
• Enter and update information accurately in internal records to support daily operations and client activity tracking.
• Assist with client arrivals and departures, including monitoring sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Provide shift coverage during staff breaks and meal periods to ensure uninterrupted front desk support.
• Support residents by helping coordinate access to medications and replenishing common area supplies as needed.
• Complete routine bed checks during swing shift and perform regular walkthroughs inside and outside the facility.
• Reinforce site expectations, document incidents or notices when appropriate, and contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
• Deliver attentive customer service by responding to questions and directing guests, clients, and partners appropriately.
