•South is looking for a friendly, dependable, and tech-savvy Front Desk Administrative Assistant & Teacher Aide to join our team! In this dual role, you will be the welcoming face of our center, managing administrative tasks while supporting our instructors and engaging with students as they build strong math and reading skills. If you love working in an educational environment, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to helping students succeed, we would love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Administration:
Greet parents and students, answer inquiries, manage student attendance, and maintain a clean, organized front reception area.
Tech & Data Management:
Use laptops to navigate Kumon's proprietary student reporting software, enter student data, manage records, and format documents in Microsoft Word.
Instructional Support:
Assist instructors during class sessions, grade student assignments, prepare study materials, and guide students through self-learning habits.
Communication:
Serve as a clear, polite liaison between instructors, parents, and students.
Qualifications & Requirements Strong Communication Skills:
Fluent, clear, and professional written and verbal communication.
Personable & Friendly:
Approachable personality with a high level of patience and enthusiasm for working with children and families.
Tech Proficiency:
Comfortable working on a laptop. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, web-based reporting software, and general computer navigation is required.
Reliability & Commitment:
We are looking for candidates seeking a long-term, stable position who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; high school or college students with relevant skills are welcome to apply.
