The person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the general supervision and management of a class of children.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 12 ECE UNITS. 3 UNITS BE INFANT/TODDLER SPECIFIC REQUIRED

Must be available M-F In all likelyhood this person will need to be the closer with hours 9 AM to 6 PM, but other shifts may be available. Toddler room is children 18 mo to 3 years old. Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/Frist Aid Certification within 30 days of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Assisting in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher. Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up learning centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies. Supervising the children during class time and outside play. Helping with the general housekeeping tasks. Assisting the teacher in any other appropriate ways. Treating all children with dignity and respect. Attending all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences. Attending parent meetings, open houses and other classroom events. Participating in professional organizations that work for the improvement of early childhood education.
