CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Any of the following credentials/licenses preferred:
Valid Special Education Teaching Credential OTHER:
Be available to teach Extended School Year (Winter, Spring, and Summer as applicable based on NSC and district(s) calendars) Valid CA driver's license and valid insurance
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE A
minimum of three years of practical public school experience as a special education teacher, program specialist, or other specialist area(s) such as school psychologist. Applicant must have appropriate, valid credential and a minimum of three (3) years experience. $33,000 Sign-On Bonus (certain conditions apply) paid as follows:
  • $5,000 with a signed contract
  • $7,000.00 at the successful conclusion of year one (1) with a positive evaluation
  • $8,000.00 at the successful conclusion of year two (2) with a positive evaluation
  • $10,000.00 at the successful conclusion of year three (3) with a positive evaluation.
  • $3,000.00 Moving Bonus (if the distance moved is greater than 75 miles away
  • Payable upon moving).
Credit will be given for all previous years of public school experience. Qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews.
WORK YEAR, SALARY, AND BENEFITS
184 Days
  • Certificated Salary Contract days. Must be available to work up to 213 Days as determined by the needs of the District for Extended School Year. Additional days paid at the employee's daily rate. $100,000.00 Life Insurance Policy $16,000.00 Health and Welfare Cap Requirements / Qualifications
