- Transcripts for verification of AA or 48-semester units; or
- Passing Score of the Paraeducator test.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Associate of Arts degree or passing of the paraeducator exam.
- Some clerical experience with knowledge of computers and related programs.
- Experience specific to a preschool through age 22 in a special education setting is preferred.
- Specialized certification related to supporting student(s) and program(s) needs (i.e. EMT, CNA, Etc.) preferred.
- Clean and clear driving record and valid California Driver's License.
- Ability to pass random drug screenings.

Specialized licensing may count towards years of experience given. $3,000 annual stipend for ESN aides that work more than .75 FTE with students in ESN classroom. Instructional Aide positions are hired districtwide and placed at ULUSD sites according to district needs.
