Day-to-Day Substitute Rate:

$190 per day

Long-Term Substitute Rate:

$225 per day, retroactive to the 11th consecutive day of service Requirements / Qualifications Ed Specialist Credential, OCDE Finger Print Clearance, Current TB Test (within four years) and transcripts. The following documents are required for this position: Only whose with Ed Specialist Credential will be considered.

OCDE Clearing House:

Fingerprinting for the OCDE Clearing House is a separate and mandatory requirement for local clearance to work in Orange County public schools.

•Regardless of your CTC status, all prospective substitute teachers for public schools in Orange County must still be fingerprinted for the OCDE Clearing House. This is a separate and mandatory requirement for local clearance. Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Includes autism; deafblind; extensive support needs; intellectual disability; multiple disabilities; orthopedic impairment; other health impairment; emotional disturbance; traumatic brain injury, and authorizes service in grades K-12, transitional kindergarten, and in classes organized primarily for adults through age 22. Copy of Transcript Credential Copy (Education Specialist Credential-Extensive support Needs w/added Autism Authorization.
