Part-time Job Overview:
Seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Preschool Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Create and maintain a daily schedule that includes structured learning time, playtime, and rest time
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with lead teacher to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • Understanding of childhood development milestones
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
  • Certification or degree in early childhood education or related field is desirable
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
  • Excellent organizational skills deliver lessons, manage classroom activities, and maintain records
  • Creativity in designing engaging activities that promote learning through play
