Skills & Experience Preferred:

Minimum of 1 full year of experience in Special Education (SPED) classrooms. Previous experience managing significant or severe caseloads is highly valued. Flexibility to be reassigned to different school sites and age groups as needed. Reliable, consistent transportation is required (personal vehicle only). Availability to start promptly each morning by 7:40am (Elementary) or 8:00am (Middle/High). Willingness to assist with personal care duties, including toileting and diapering, as necessary. Candidates must be ready to undergo immediate fingerprinting after offer acceptance; any felony or misdemeanor charges will result in disqualification. Two completed professional RefAssured references are required at the time of presentation—candidates submitted without these will not be considered. Candidate's current location must be included upon application.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers and SPED staff in daily instructional activities. Support students with significant/complex needs throughout the school day. Adapt to various classrooms and age groups, demonstrating versatility in approach. Provide both academic and personal care support, including toileting/diapering assistance.
