- 18) and actively support the academic, behavioral, and operational needs of the school.
Core Duties & Responsibilities Instructional & Classroom Support:
Assist teachers with daily in
- and out-of-classroom tasks, including helping students with class assignments, managing small group activities, making & handing out copies, and providing short-term student monitoring.
Student Supervision:
Perform active supervision duties during lunch, recess, and transition periods, as well as morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off.
Coverage & Flexibility:
Adaptably cover classes when a substitute teacher is unavailable or when coverage cannot otherwise be found.
Testing Assistance:
Support the testing coordinator during standardized testing seasons to ensure a secure and organized testing environment.
Inclusion & Diversity:
Work and excel in a highly diverse student environment, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
Administrative Support:
Perform any other duties assigned by the school administration to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working as a paraprofessional. Previous experience in a school or educational environment. Direct experience working with middle or high school learners (ages 13-18).
