Full-time, 1.0 FTE September 2026-May 2027 High school Multi-Intensive Special Education classroom About the Role Hello Medical Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Medical Paraprofessional to support students in a Multi-Intensive Special Education classroom in Boulder, CO. This role is ideal for someone with both medical/nursing experience and a strong background working in public-school Special Education settings. You'll work closely with students who have significant medical and educational needs while collaborating with teachers, nurses, and other school staff to provide safe, consistent, and compassionate support. What You'll Do Provide direct support to students throughout the school day Assist with personal care, including diapering female students Provide G-tube feeding and cleaning support Assist with students who use vents Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities Follow medical and safety protocols under the direction of appropriate school staff Collaborate with teachers, nurses, Special Education staff, and related service providers Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment Adapt to changing student and classroom needs as part of a collaborative team What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of Special Education classroom experience Nursing or Nurse's Aide experience required Comfortable providing hands-on medical and personal care Experience or comfort with G-tube feeding, vents, seizure protocols, and diapering Reliable transportation required Flexible, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow medical, safety, and classroom procedures consistently Why Join Ampersand Therapy Competitive pay up to $28/hour + Steady School Year Schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits
