View Salary Matrix Join Our Team at TJS! Are you passionate about supporting students with developmental disabilities in a dynamic, inclusive, and community-focused environment? TJS is seeking dedicated Instructional Assistants to help implement individualized programming and foster growth in academic, vocational, social, and life skills. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with classroom staff and specialists to implement student programs. Support students in independent living, hygiene, and community-based instruction. Collect data and implement treatment plans with fidelity. Attend clinical meetings, staff trainings, and home visits. Assist with assessments, IEP/BIP preparation, and progress monitoring. Prepare materials and lead group activities. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies (CALM). Ensure compliance with school, DHS, and CDE policies.
Qualifications Minimum age:
21 High school diploma or equivalent (required) One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred) Valid Colorado Driver's License and good driving record Maturity, reliability, and strong communication skills SkillsAbilities Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Excel Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and communicate effectively Comfortable working in active environments (e.g., swimming, skiing, camp outings) Able to lift/carry up to 150 lbs with assistance and engage in physical activities Benefits 100% employer-paid HSA medical insurance (plus PPO options) Dental, vision, telehealth, disability, and life insurance options 9 weeks of paid school breaks, 7 paid holidays, and 3 weeks PTO 403(b) retirement plan Paid parental/medical leave (Colorado FAMLI) Tuition reimbursement
