ASSISTANT INSTRUCTIONAL TEACHER JOB DESCRIPTION
Various classrooms (Infant to Preschool aged children)
Working Hours:
8:00-5:00 M-F Report to:

Full-Time Non-Exempt Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
The core function of your role at our educational establishment is to support your classroom Lead Teacher with the teaching and instruction of your classroom children in accordance with Academic Curriculum and Christian Curriculum as directed by ECA and in adherence with Colorado State Early Childhood Standards; Support with planning and teaching developmentally appropriate educational activities for children in accordance with Academic Curriculum and Christian Curriculum as directed by ECA and in adherence with Colorado State Early Childhood Standards; Support with integrating competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans; Support with encouraging creativity by organizing developmentally appropriate projects in accordance with Academic Curriculum and Christian Curriculum as directed by ECA and in adherence with Colorado State Early Childhood Standards; Collaborating with other teachers and staff; Communicating effectively with parents and guardians using ECA's Communication Platform; Attend and participate in performances held by ECA students unless pre-approved by Head of School; Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment both indoors and outdoors; Knowing and following ECA's Policies and Procedures; and Other duties as assigned by your Classroom Lead Instructor.
Licensing Rules, Regulations and Health Department Requirements:
You are responsible for ensuring that the environment is clean, safe, and healthy. The daily cleaning duties that are required based on licensing rules and regulations as well as health department requirements: Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces: All surfaces that children come into contact with should be cleaned and disinfected multiple times throughout the day, including at the end of the day after the last child has left for the day. This includes tables, chairs, toys, and other equipment. Use a disinfectant solution that is approved by the health department.
Cleaning and sanitizing toys:
Toys should be cleaned and sanitized weekly.

Use a disinfectant solution to clean and sanitize toys, and make sure to dry them thoroughly before returning them to the play area. You are responsible for knowing Licensing Rules and Regulations and following these guidelines at all times.
Pay:
$22.99 - $27.69 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
