Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of middle school students by providing crucial classroom support in a contract role designed for individuals with a passion for education. Two paraprofessional positions are available for immediate start, serving students in grades 6-8 with significant support needs. This opportunity offers a focused caseload of five students, allowing for meaningful connections and impactful assistance. In this role, youll collaborate with educators to create an engaging, inclusive environment, helping students achieve their fullest potential during the academic year.
What Youll Bring:
Experience working as a paraprofessional or relevant background in educational support, particularly within school settings Ability to assist students with significant support needs, ideally in small group or one-on-one contexts Effective communication skills for working with both students and staff Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to student success Flexibility and professionalism in a dynamic classroom environment
Daily Responsibilities:
Support classroom instruction by assisting with academic and behavioral tasks Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere Aid students in accessing curriculum, following routines, and developing social skills Assist with documentation and reporting under the guidance of licensed staff Collaborate with special education and general education teams to ensure student needs are met
Position Highlights:
