The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that support the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and volunteers, ensuring they adhere to classroom routines and teaching standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and development, including conducting parent-teacher conferences. Perform ongoing assessments of children's performance and development, adjusting educational strategies and techniques as needed. Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and resources, including preparing and requesting materials necessary for daily activities and special projects. Coordinate and lead special events, field trips, and activities that enhance the learning experience and engage the community. Address and report any signs of emotional or developmental problems in children, working closely with parents and specialists to implement support strategies.
