An engaging contract opportunity is available for paraprofessionals with multiple openings in the area. You'll work closely with teachers and students to foster an environment that encourages learning, growth, and inclusivity. Successful candidates will play a key role in providing assistance in the classroom, working with students one-on-one or in small groups, and helping deliver instructional and behavioral support. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on enriching educational experiences and supporting students' individual needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward supporting students of varying abilities Understanding of classroom routines and willingness to follow established guidelines High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or college coursework in education preferred) Background check and relevant clearances required
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students under the guidance of teachers and special education staff Assist with implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Promote positive social interactions and reinforce appropriate behavior Engage students in classroom activities and encourage participation Support teacher-led instruction and help adapt materials as needed Supervise students during meals, recess, and transitions Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents If you're ready to make a meaningful impact as a paraprofessional and thrive in a school environment, this could be the perfect fit.
