Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate assistant toddler teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The assistant toddler teacher will work closely with children aged 1-2 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using appropriate behavior management techniques. Provide individualized attention to children, including those with disabilities, to support their unique learning needs. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Ensure the safety of all students by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Organize activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in children. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to address various student needs. First aid certification is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Experience in babysitting or toddler care can be beneficial. Excellent communication skills to engage with both children and parents effectively.
