Assistant Teacher/Floater Sunshine Preschool - 3.8 Hamden, CT Job Details Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Childcare CPR Certification High school diploma or GED Working with children Full Job Description Sunshine Preschool is a relaxed learning center with approximately 50 children currently enrolled. Sunshine Preschool believes each child is unique and grows and develops on their individual pace. We believe that individual learning is stimulated through collaborative learning, language development and cultural integration. Our curriculum includes a balance of teacher directed and child initiated "hands on" learning activities and meaningful experiences. Children are given an abundance of opportunities to explore materials and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities including art, music, language development, pre-math skills, science and nature, and dramatic play. Children develop self-esteem, independence and problem-solving skills as they make choices and assist in planning the environment and activities We are seeking an Assistant Teacher/Floater that is hardworking, creative individual. Individual must be able to work in group settings and high-pressure situations. Individual must have some experience working with children. CPR/Medication Administration certification is always a plus but not a requirement.
