We specialize in providing high-quality Infant, Toddler, and Preschool care for up to 72 children, committed to fostering a nurturing and educational environment that meets the highest national standards. Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help inspire young children's growth, learning, and social-emotional development while building strong partnerships with families. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure their safety at all times Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, behavior management, and classroom management techniques Qualifications CDA Credential preferred Experience working with young children in an early care and education setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork Ability to supervise children effectively while maintaining a positive attitude Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children!
