Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Paraprofessional in a welcoming educational environment near Hartford, CT. This role begins as soon as possible and offers the chance to make a direct, positive impact with students in grades K-2, focusing specifically on individuals who are nonverbal and autistic. You'll work closely with teaching staff to foster an engaged and nurturing classroom atmosphere, helping every child reach their potential. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, especially in school settings Familiarity working with nonverbal and autistic students strongly preferred Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school personnel Compassion, patience, and commitment to inclusive education Strong communication skills and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
