Key Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide preferred Ability to provide support to students individually or in group settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families Adaptability, patience, and a proactive approach to meeting diverse classroom needs High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and delivery of educational materials Support students with individualized learning needs, including implementing modifications and accommodations as directed Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement Help monitor student progress and behavior, offering redirection and support as needed Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to further professional growth and collaboration Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and uphold all school policies
