Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment where your skills as a Behavior Technician and background in special education make a genuine impact. This contract opportunity provides full-time hours (31 per week, 8am-3pm) supporting students, including those on the Autism Spectrum and with behavioral challenges. You'll play a vital role, working both one-on-one and within classroom settings, collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care and support.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, or similar behavioral support role At least 2 years of direct experience working with students with behavioral or special education needs Ability to implement individualized behavior support plans consistently Skilled in de-escalation and positive behavioral interventions Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and classroom-based support, ensuring individualized attention for students Follow and implement behavior intervention plans developed for students on the Autism Spectrum or with other behavioral needs Collaborate with educators to adapt activities and strategies for student inclusion and success Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $24, along with insurance and 401k benefits.
