Job Description
Teachers and Assistants needed to work with preschoolers from 8:30-12:30 (or 2:15) for the 2026-27 school year. Experience working with preschoolers and coursework in early childhood education preferred. Must enjoy hands on play with children in a warm, nurturing, respectful, non judgmental and happy manner. Assist in planning, carrying out and evaluating all classroom activities. Assist in set up and clean up of classroom and maintenance of equipment/supplies. Must exhibit the ability to sustain a high level of energy throughout the day. Must be able to assume low level positions that allow physical and visual contact with children. Must be able to stoop, sit on the floor and have the agility to move from a seated position to a standing position promptly to respond to emergency situations. Must be able to perform all activities with children, i.e. jump, dance, walk, and run etc. for extended periods of time. Depending upon the activities and season, must be able to be outdoors for regular, prolonged activities. Must possess acceptable hearing and visual capabilities in order to monitor the environment and children's well being. Must submit a current health form and complete background check including fingerprinting and DCF check.
