Previous paraprofessional experience in a school setting is highly valued Familiarity with providing resource support and in-class assistance for students with diverse learning needs Ability to collaborate well with teachers, special education staff, and other team members Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to the full assignment duration, starting as soon as possible through June 11, 2027 High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus Key responsibilities include: Assisting students with special needs in resource rooms and mainstream classrooms Supporting instructional activities under the direction of certified staff Helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment Assisting with implementation of IEP accommodations and modifications Encouraging positive student behavior and engagement Providing individualized or small group support as needed Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Youll work a total of 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week, creating meaningful connections with students and staff throughout the academic year.
