Until Filled Special Education Paraeducators (Multiple Openings) Simsbury Public Schools is seeking caring, dedicated, and student-centered individuals to join our team as full-time Special Education Paraeducators . We have multiple openings at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. If you are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve success, we encourage you to apply.

Special Education Paraeducator Schedule:
Full-Time, 185 days per year
Salary:
$28.69 - $30.79 per hour (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement)

Union Position Qualifications Candidates must:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students receiving special education services. Be collaborative, flexible, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments. Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: Have completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an accredited institution of higher education; or Hold an associate degree (or higher) ; or Successfully pass a state or locally approved assessment demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
