Job DescriptionReports ToThe Mosaic Activities/Program Assistant will report to Mosaic Director. This position is non-exempt, part-time hourly position.
Salary Range:
$17.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob OverviewThe Mosaic Activities/Program Assistant is responsible for implementing assigned activities and programs to meet the needs, interests, and capabilities of the residents within the Memory Care Neighborhood. Assumes the responsibility to engage residents to participate in activities and programs each day.

Responsibilities and DutiesAssists with planning and implementing activities that meet the needs and interests of the residentsAssists with creating resident histories and profiles with resident/family involvementAssumes responsibility for set-up and clean-up of daily activities scheduledAssists with creating a monthly social program calendar and distributes them to community personnel and residentsKeeps residents engaged between planned social activitiesDrive the community vehicle for resident outingsParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduledEnsures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned QualificationsQualificationsOne to two years related experience in leading activities for the elderlyHigh school diploma or higher education preferredExcellent verbal and written communicationWilling to work flexible hoursProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applicationsAbility to drive the community vehicle for resident outingsPhysical AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.

An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 25 lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
