After School 21st Century Program-Substitute Paraeducator The 21st Century Community Learning Center Program is an afterschool program of the Stratford Public Schools operated in cooperation with Stratford Community Services. The program is currently offered at two sites, Flood and Wooster Middle Schools, and is funded through the State Department of Education. One Paraeducator (Educational Aide) at each site assists with the Afterschool Snack Program and homework help. Substitutes are needed at Flood Middle School for when the Paraeducator currently on staff is unavailable. The program operates three days per week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Substitute Paraeducator works up to 2.5 to 3 hours a day after school hours when a substitute is needed. The hourly rate is per the UAW contract. The school year program runs through early June 2026.
