Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (not pending). Solid background working as a paraprofessional in educational settings. Flexible and responsive to shifting assignments across different school sites. Willingness to pay for mandatory $85 CBC fingerprinting prior to onboarding. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and students. Commitment to full-time availability during scheduled school weeks.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide supportive services for students and staff across elementary, middle, and high schools within the district. Step into assignments ranging from one-on-one assistance to classroom-wide support, adapting quickly to varied environments and student needs. Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in all interactions. Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with educators to ensure consistent support.
