Job Description

Launch your career supporting students as a paraprofessional in an engaging school environment located near Bear, DE. We are seeking dedicated professionals interested in contract opportunities across a well-established district, with openings available on an ongoing basis. You'll work onsite, providing essential assistance to classroom teachers and supporting a range of student needs across various school sites.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (pending permits not accepted; candidates with applications in process must provide screenshots from the DEEDS portal) Experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational setting preferred Commitment to completing required background checks, including $85 CBC fingerprinting, TB test, and Child Protective Registry Check Ability to complete all district-required contractor paperwork prior to start If a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), understand the district will classify you as a paraprofessional and does not provide BCBA supervision
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with teachers to support student learning and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere Assist with implementing individualized educational plans and classroom activities as directed Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students Communicate effectively with educators and administrators to ensure consistency in student support Adhere to district guidelines and complete all necessary documentation
