The Assistant Teacher serves as a model and mentor. In this role you'll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate and implement educational curriculum for children preparing for primary school kindergarten by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards while making lesson plans that are also sensory rich Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement while following all facility policies and state regulations Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children Encourage children to develop language skills, a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation while also encouraging independent feeding and self-help skills Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards What We Need from

You:

High school Diploma and/or degree in related field of study required
