Our programs focus on nurturing a lifelong love of learning through our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum, supporting children's growth and development in a safe, engaging environment. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support classroom teachers and assist with daily activities, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for every child. As a floater, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple classrooms, gaining valuable classroom management experience while helping create a warm, nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing curriculum activities focused on early childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and organized learning environment. Work closely with children to foster their individual growth, including working with students with disabilities or autism when needed. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and learning through play. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Support behavior management strategies and assist in mentoring children to develop positive social skills. Adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a floater, providing flexible support where needed. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly valued. Knowledge of Montessori or other specialized teaching methods is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to proofread and support tutoring or mentoring activities are essential. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior and support children's developmental milestones in literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Previous private school or childcare center experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for working with children is key.
