Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant educational team as a Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for young learners. We are a Christian School seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. We are looking for a loving, organized, and motivated individual to welcome our children, and help create and implement lesson plans, use strategies for children based on their individual needs, help children develop Spiritual, physical, academic and social excellence, and offer excellent daily communication with parents. Responsibilities Implementing curriculum and plan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate. Model Christian values to children and other staff members Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents through Daily interaction, reports, and Newsletter Log and write incident reports as needed Guide students in gaining social skills, faith, motor skills, independence, and essential cognitive skills for preschool Follow guidelines established by the Department of Health, and ELC to meet curricular and age-appropriate practices Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., washing hands, eating) Requirements 45 hour DCF certification ECPC or National CDA (preferred) High School diploma CPR/First Aid certification 3 written character references Level 2 Background check upon hiring
