Afternoon Assistant Teacher - Part time Golden Triangle Academy Eustis and Leesburg ____________________________________________________________________________

Job Description Responsibilities:

Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior Build good, open communication with children, families and staff Observe and record children's growth, development and behaviour using electronic portfolios Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe Help develop teaching goals for the center and its teachers Undertake administrative tasks as required You will need: To start and complete DCF 45 hour Training. Experience working in a childcare setting Fantastic organisational, leadership and teamwork skills Sound written and verbal communication skills A good level of computer literacy Level II Background Check Willingness to achieve a good understanding of the Florida Early Standards Company Description Golden Triangle Academy, is a well-respected childcare center located in both Eustis and Leesburg, Lake County, FL. Required Skills and Abilities:

Must have a warm and supportive attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families. Must be reliable. Must be flexible in receiving assignments or adapting to changes in the program. Must be willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be physically able to perform the job of a teacher of young children. Work Environment and Expectations Golden Triangle Learning Center is a 5 STAR early care and education program that views each child as an individual with a unique developmental profile. Through age appropriate programming, Golden Triangle serves children age 6 weeks to 12 years. General Pay and Contract Provisions:

Part time work week with hours between 2:00PM and 6:30 PM, Full Time work between hours of 9:00AM - 6:00PM. Competitive compensation $14 - $15 commensurate with education and experience. Benefits available. Must be 17yrs old to apply.
